here of this wonderful new library is a clear sign that we have
succeeded in creating a welcoming and inclusive space at the Krasman
Centre."
Following
the ceremony, thirty-plus guests enjoyed snacks and browsed the
book collection which currently numbers 106 volumes. The collection
is expected to double in size within the next year thanks to ongoing

A
multi-faith community celebration to wrap up PRIDE Week,
held at St. Matthew's United Church, 333 Crosby Avenue in Richmond
Hill.
Over
sixty people joined us for an evening of music and celebration
as Rev. John Joseph Mastandrea led our exploration of the spirit
and meaning of the colours of the Pride rainbow.
We
thank the people of St. Matthew's United Church for
making us welcome and for their ongoing support
of
our community, pianist/soloist Neill Kernohan and the St. Matthew's
choir for the gift of music, and PFLAG York Region for hosting
a social hour after the service.
